Last night

I dreamed about you

I dreamed that

silent ways…

And I heard

your responses

in my heart

Now staring at the page

on which I write

I see the contours of your face

As I trace my fingers

over you as if I’m reading Braille

words appear on my page

Words that radiate my emotions

words that fuel and drive my passion

words that feed my soul

Each laughter line

a little deeper

because of how

we share life together

Each freckle

a droplet of ink

from my pen

as words tumble

easily onto my page

Eyes that shine

and sparkle like diamonds

Bowed lips that smile

with ease and perform

incredible acts of

love and desire
