Celestial Library
In the celestial library
where ink flowed like comet trails
A scribe dipped his quill
He etched galaxies onto parchment
stitching stardust into verses
But one night
as Orion wept
his quill rebelled
He wrote
a love letter
to the moon
inked in constellations
all of his desire
poured from his nib
For there
in one place
in one insignificant little planet
lived this vision of beauty
his star crossed lover
she is more wondrous
than a galaxy full of stars
could ever be

What started out
as something small
Silently grew
Encompassing the scribes soul
star fires burn and flutter within
when she looks to the scribe
The heart of the scribe fills with love
as his warm embrace encompasses her
With every kiss and gentle touch
the scribe steals away
all her doubts and fears
The scribe has found eternity
