Desire
I adore her voluptuous form Especially when it’s wrapped in lace I love how silk falls over her form And yet I also crave a bond where silence is understood glances are gold and love breathes between the lines For love has found us at the bridge of our dreams where our wishes met in swirling beats of dancing hearts as if our lights made their way across A winding country road connecting our souls as eternity writes its everlasting poem in a kiss that melded our embracing spirits together forever

I like how the poem moves from physical attraction to the quieter desire of being truly understood. For me, that shift gives the ending its real tenderness.
