My Rose
Oh how that rose
Helps me think of you
Her beauty like yours, rare
As I lift her in my hands
I hold you…… close
Her petals straining to bring pleasure
As is the want of your heart
Your sight, your touch, your scent
Creates within desires so strong
That carry me across the sea
and into your arms
*
Kneeling there
Breathing deeply
My nose buried in your petals
I taste your morning dew
Closing my eyes
My tongue
Flits and flutters
Caressing droplets
That burst with flavour on my tongue
Frisson ripples through
As your taste becomes entangled within
*
And there to kneel breathing deeply
An act of worth ship begins
Flowers strewn across the altar
As our bodies join
our hearts and minds
In rich and deep connection

Yours
