Written In The Stars

She is a goddess

of the stars

within the night sky

for somehow

she lit every one of them

like a candle in the sky

for them to be my guide

And like a moth to her flame

I came to her

my destiny

as she wrote in the stars

I fell in love with her eyes

for they had looked

innocently and with longing

into the depths of my heart

and found her joy and peace

I did quiet mantras

and meditation

so that I could

consume her kisses

and to receive

the knowledge

of the thoughts

of her precious mind

Through osmosis

love came to stay within

And my heart has been

empowered

energised

to beat again
